On Sunday August 25th, the CTCDC partnered with Representative Steve McCarter and Senator LeAnna M. Washington to host a document shredding event in Cheltenham High School's parking lot. The turnout was incredible to say the least. Cars ringed the parking lot, out Panther Road and down Church Road. People came from all over the area to bring their unneeded confidential documents and records to be shred in secure equipment.

The CTCDC is partnering with local business and the Township to bring the Elkins Park Train Station back to its former glory. Cynthia Blackwood, owner of The Frame House, across from the new Creekside Co-op, was inspired to re-invent the architecturally elegant space into a haven and gallery for the arts as well as a community space.
